Most of the time, I love my job. I mean, why go to a job you hate? What’s the point of that? If at all possible, find a job you love and decide to love it.
This isn’t too hard for me, oh about 28 days of the month. The other 2 [...]

My two big kids are polar opposites. Caleb and I made a list today on the way home from school. Each of these things is actually true and only slightly exaggerated.
Caleb is a boy. Elizabeth is a girl. Caleb figured that one out. Our public school tax dollars at work.
Caleb would rather not talk to [...]

I rarely talk about funny things that my son Caleb says, because, unlike his sister, he usually thinks before he speaks. Today, however, he blurted out something that struck my husband and me as truly hilarious, although it might have been one of those “you had to be there” moments.

I’ve compiled a list [...]

I was noticing this morning that I have a definite “pooch” in my stomach area. I think most people would refer to it as a “third-baby pooch,” although my husband pointed out that it could be a “cheesecake pooch,” based on the sheer amount of cheesecake that I’ve consumed over the past week.

Today is my 10th wedding anniversary. In honor of this momentous event in my marriage, I’ve compiled a list of 10 things I never imagined I’d be able to say about my life 10 years ago:
I have three kids. Three kids? Are you kidding me?
I weigh approximately 20 pounds less now [...]
