Apple Picking
One of the nice things about living in a small town is that our kids are able to experience picking their own produce. They’ve never really thought that fruits and vegetables are created by Wal-Mart, Inc., like they would if we still lived in Memphis.
Phillip experienced Apple Picking for the first time last week. Our friend Susan had a tree that was literally bowing under the weight of its fruit, so we took home three bushels of apples. I made apple pie so many times that Lannie actually asked me to stop making it.
