Halloween

Phillip wore a ladybug costume for about 5 minutes. He was hot and cranky and didn’t know why he had to wear that.
Lannie called it a “beetle” costume, but I pointed out that God makes both male and female ladybugs (regardless of the name). Bottom line is that it was Ellie’s costume from when she was two, so we didn’t waste any money on a Halloween costume for a one-year-old that he would wear for 5 minutes.
We went to the festival/party at First Baptist Church. The kids had a ball-especially Phillip, who ran all over the room from one thing to the next. He especially liked the basketball toss and the football toss. He kept stealing balls and running off with them.
We really enjoyed being able to chase him around the room without having to work a booth. It was kind of nice to just be a visitor and not have any responsibilities, except for our own kids.

Didn’t Lannie watch A Bug’s Life?…there are definitely male lady bugs.
Thank you!
