That would be a strange phone call
Phillip loves to “talk” on the phone. He usually knows just enough to turn it on, but not enough to actually dial a number (I’m sure that will come soon enough). We were surprised to find charges of $3 to our hotel bill in Memphis last week because Phillip had the phone off the hook long enough to register 3 outside calls. He never dialed any numbers, mind you, but they sure charged us anyway!
He usually has an imaginary conversation with Papa when he’s “on” the phone that goes something like this: “Hello? Hi, Papa! Bye, bye.” He’s short and to the point.
Yesterday he picked up the phone and started a new conversation– one that was probably intended more for me than for whoever he imagined was on the other end of the line: “Hello? I’m stinky!”

Just be glad that the emergency # is 9-1-1 in the States. In England it is 9-9-9. We found that out after 2 police officers showed up at our door at 10.30p one night — Silas had placed a “silent” emergency call for 30 mins!
Yes, that number seems a little too easy for a baby or toddler to dial!
