Ellie asked me not to throw away her glittery hair spray because her best friend gave it to her.
“Who, Madison?”
“Yes.”
“I thought your best friend was Hannah.”
“Well, she’s my best friend. And Madison is my best friend. But Morgan is my best friend, too.”
“I think all of your friends are your best friend. Madison, Hannah, Morgan– take your pick.”
“Who’s Tookapick?”
