Completely morphed into boring old people

Our two older kids are staying in New Orleans for a few extra days with my parents. Phillip goes with the flow, so it really amounts to having a lot of alone time. What have Lannie and I done with the extra time alone? Did we go out to dinner? Go to a movie? Go clubbin’? Nope. We got up at 5:30 this morning to go to Benton to run in a 2 mile race and then came home and watched Phillip play. I might give blood this afternoon. We also talked about going to Pet Smart. Nice.

Lannie would like to point out that he also took me to Taco Bell. The Taco Bell drive-through.

  1. Glad were’re not the only ones that have reached that stage. But, I think we weren’t that far off after we got married 9 years ago.

  2. Ha! I love it. We’ll be boring with you!

  3. Thanks, guys! It’s good to know that this is a normal thirty-something thing to do.
