Confusing the holidays
Being only two years old, Phillip doesn’t really remember Christmas. He does remember Halloween, however, which might explain how he came to confuse the two holidays.
Every time he hears the word “Christmas,” Phillip excitedly tells us, “I be cowboy for Christmas!” He was a cowboy for Halloween, and we can’t really convince him that people don’t usually dress up for Christmas.
If you live in Arkadelphia, don’t be surprised to see Phillip on your doorstep on Christmas morning. He’ll be the one in the cowboy hat.

Ahh, Phillip needs to move to England…Halloween is not such a big deal and loads of children actually dress up for Christmas. You mostly see angels, snowmen, and santas but I’m sure a cowboy would fit in too.
I think Phillip would love that! He doesn’t really know that we get presents for Christmas, though, so it will probably become his new favorite holiday.
