We sold our house!
We drove to Arkadelphia one last time on Thursday to close on our house. It was a weird feeling walking through it for the last time– a lot of relief mixed with a little sadness, thinking about how little the kids were when we moved in 7 years ago, bringing Phillip home from the hospital, and laying the tile and the wood flooring ourselves. Caleb walked through his old room and said, “I don’t remember it being this small!” and we were thankful that someone was willing to pay so much for a house with such little bedrooms.
I also felt a little more grown up– we’ve now bought and sold our first house. It’s always still a weird feeling to me to realize that I’m the grown-up.
