Mama Byrd

Elizabeth and I often have little “arguments” about what she is or is not going to wear, which I’m sure will only get worse as she gets older. I try to let her pick out her own clothes as much as possible, but I must admit sometimes I’m baffled by what she thinks “matches” a certain outfit.

I asked her about her fashion rules, and she was happy to inform me:

1. Flowered clothes go together– flowers on your clothes go with flowers on your shoes, no matter what color.

2. Yellow and white don’t go together, but pink goes with yellow (and every other color).

3. No matter what you’re wearing, your red Sunday shoes go with everything!
