They can’t help it; they are just kids. As a mom, though, it’s my job to clean up after them when they are gross.

It’s the worst part of the job, bar none. Those of you who are men should really thank God right now that you will probably never have to get up in the middle of the night and clean someone else’s vomit off the floor. There’s usually a person who does that, and her name is Mom.

After I cleaned up the bathroom today, I called my mom and thanked her. Profusely. I’m pretty sure she thinks I’ve lost my mind.

Phillip goes with the flow, so it really amounts to having a lot of alone time. What have Lannie and I done with the extra time alone? Did we go out to dinner? Go to a movie? Go clubbin’? Nope. We got up at 5:30 this morning to go to Benton to run in a 2 mile race and then came home and watched Phillip play. I might give blood this afternoon. We also talked about going to Pet Smart. Nice.

Lannie would like to point out that he also took me to Taco Bell. The Taco Bell drive-through.
